Meliá Hotels International has once again reaffirmed its status as the leading employer brand in the Spanish tourism sector. According to the latest MERCO Talento ranking, the hotel group continues to top its sector for its ability to attract and retain talent. Moreover, Meliá not only strengthens its leadership but also rises to 13th place in the overall ranking compiled by the MERCO Monitor, which is based on a comprehensive analysis of feedback from more than 53,000 surveys, including employees, students, and human resources experts.
This recognition comes at a time when Meliá Hotels International is fully committed to its employees. Through its Travel for Good program, which promotes the company's sustainability efforts, the Good for Our People initiative focuses on nurturing talent within its teams and continuously enhancing their experience within the company, fostering a workplace rooted in equality and diversity.
Meliá has also recently achieved Top Employer Enterprise certification, after earning Top Employer certification in 10 countries, representing over 95% of its consolidated workforce. This certification, which the company continues to expand, reinforces Meliá's position as one of the top employer brands on a global scale.
In an increasingly competitive talent market, particularly in the tourism sector, the company remains committed to advancing its employer brand strategy by strengthening partnerships with educational institutions, while promoting continuous employee training, professional development opportunities, and creating a work environment that encourages recognition, open communication, and quality leadership.

As Gabriel Escarrer Jaume, Chairman and CEO of Meliá Hotels International, explains, "We are proud to continue leading the tourism sector in the MERCO Talento ranking while also improving our overall position. Being recognized in a ranking of this caliber confirms that we are on the right path, strengthening our employer brand and fostering excellence in the workplace, with a strong commitment to our teams."
