HR Consultant Education (HRC)
Keeping up with the latest developments in Human Resource Management demands knowledge, insight, and an all-encompassing perspective. Human resources are increasingly vital to corporate planning, placing more demands on HR managers than ever before.
The HR Consultant Education (HRC) is a professional e-learning program complemented by case studies, assignments, tests following each module and culminating in a final certification. The curriculum builds on foundational HRM knowledge and spans five modules, detailing how to best tackle tasks within Human Resource Management and optimize organizational processes as an HR consultant.
The program's five modules are of business school caliber and encompass the following areas:
Module 1: Recruitment and Selection
This module covers job analysis, searching, advertising, e-recruiting, conducting job interviews, conversation and listening techniques, drafting employment agreements, screening, administering occupational psychology tests, taking references, and more.
Additionally, the module provides supplementary sections featuring tools and methods for advanced interview techniques and psychology.
This module entails approximately 80 pages of reading, complemented by an e-learning assignments & tests.
Module 2: HR Development and Interviews
This module covers employee interviews, staff assessments, job development, personnel and training planning, competency and career development, and attitude surveys, among other topics.
It also includes additional sections featuring tools and methods from the field of psychology, such as advanced behavioral psychology, interview techniques, body language, linguistics, and personality types.
The module requires approximately 80 pages of reading, complemented by an e-learning case, online assignments and tests.
Module 3: Salary and Compensation
Topics include salary policies, salary adjustments, salary systems, employee benefits, fringe & benefits, executives / leader / CEO compensation, taxation, options, warrants, employee stock ownership, bonds, and salary statistics.
Participants will engage with roughly 80 pages of reading material, online assignments, and tests.
Module 4: Personnel Policy and Administration
This module delves into the creation of personnel policies, including their concepts and content. It addresses corporate culture, mergers, policy-making (e.g., smoking, senior policy, equality), the work environment, telecommuting, staff policy development, impact assessments, HR Intranet, data gathering, personnel statistics, headcounts, as well as communication and knowledge sharing.
Additional sections are provided on change management, mergers and consolidations, value-based management, management principles, leadership roles and development, corporate storytelling, workplace environment, and stress management techniques.
This module entails approximately 60-80 pages of reading, complemented by an e-learning assignments & tests.
Module 5: Redundancies and Resignations
This module covers terminations, reasons for resigning, ethics, redeployment, the resignation interview process, communication during changes, and social responsibility, among other topics.
This module entails approximately 50 pages of reading, complemented by an e-learning assignments & tests.
The e-learning modules and exercises focus on the processes within the current global business environment, as well as the opportunities and strategies participants can employ to impact and enhance these processes, thus contributing to their company's success. The content is delivered using business school terminology, yet remains approachable through a blend of expert knowledge and practical case studies.
Teaching Format
Upon course registration, participants are provided with a username and password, granting direct access to the educational pages, libraries, and associated links one month before the education begins. The education is practical and work-oriented, structured so learners can immediately apply their new knowledge to everyday job tasks.
Requirements:
To participate in the MasterClass, individuals must possess a PC or MAC with internet access and an email address.
