MGallery Collection, a portfolio of boutique-spirited hotels with distinctive stories and character from Accor, announces its arrival in New York City with the signing of Ink 48, a landmark hotel overlooking the Hudson River in Manhattan. The announcement marks a major milestone for MGallery and underscores Accor's strategic commitment to grow its leading hospitality brands throughout key gateway locations in North America. Following the signing, the hotel will embark on an extensive renovation and enhancement program designed to elevate the guest experience while preserving the property's distinctive character. During this transition period, Ink 48 will continue to operate independently before officially joining MGallery Collection as the brand's U.S. flagship hotel in 2028 and managed by Rebel Hotel Company.

September 22, 2026: Located in Hell's Kitchen on Manhattan's West Side, just steps from the Hudson River and within easy reach of Times Square, Hudson Yards, and Broadway, Ink 48 is a landmark lifestyle hotel known for its expansive views over the New York skyline and waterfront. The property features 222 guestrooms, including 17 suites, a rooftop bar, restaurant, and meeting facilities, making it one of the most prominent MGallery addresses in North America.

"We are delighted to partner with Accor to bring Ink 48 into the MGallery Collection. Ink 48 has always stood apart in Manhattan's hotel landscape, a property with a genuine sense of place and a loyal following. MGallery is the ideal brand to build on that: a collection defined by individuality rather than uniformity, allowing us to elevate the guest experience and the hotel's positioning while preserving what our guests value most about it."

— Andres Ramirez, Head of Asset Management, Capstone Equities

"We take a long view on the assets we own, and Ink 48 has always had the fundamentals to justify it. Aligning the hotel with a collection like MGallery is a natural progression and having Capstone and Accor as partners gives us confidence in how it will be executed. This is a milestone we've been working toward for some time."

— Henry Zavriyev, President & CEO, Leyad

A distinctive Manhattan address inspired by New York's creative spirit

Originally conceived as a contemporary urban retreat, Ink 48 offers guests a unique perspective on New York City, blending industrial-inspired design with panoramic views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline. Through its affiliation with MGallery Collection and supported by Rebel's lifestyle and luxury team, the hotel will further embrace the brand's philosophy of creating hotels with character, rooted in the culture and spirit of their destination.

The property features 222 guestrooms and suites, including a signature penthouse suite, with accommodations designed to provide a sense of space rarely found in Manhattan. Guests will enjoy an elevated urban experience complemented by curated design, personalized service, and meaningful connections to the destination.

The hotel's culinary offering includes Hudson Local, the ground-floor restaurant, and Hudson VU, its iconic rooftop bar overlooking the city skyline. Additional facilities include approximately 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space across multiple venues, as well as a fitness center.

A thoughtful transformation towards a new chapter

Following the signing, the hotel will undergo a renovation designed to introduce MGallery's signature brand touchpoints, elevated design elements, and immersive guest experiences. During this period, the property will continue operating as an independent hotel, ensuring continuity for guests while the transformation progresses. Once completed, the hotel will reopen in 2028 under the MGallery Collection banner, ushering in a new era for this iconic Manhattan address.
