EHL welcomes two new members to its Board of Directors and bids farewell to one member

Lausanne, June 19, 2025 - EHL is delighted to announce the appointment of Sabine Krauss and Christian Hürlimann to its Board of Directors, effective June 2025. They strengthen the board with deep expertise and a proven track record in business and hospitality leadership. At the same time, EHL extends its sincere gratitude to Nicole Brändle, who hands over her office as director of HotellerieSuisse to Christian Hürlimann.

Their respective expertise, combined with their proven leadership, will bring valuable perspectives to guide EHL’s strategic priorities and further develop its position as a reference in cultivating human-centric excellence.” 

Sabine Krauss 

Sabine is a human resources executive with over 25 years of international professional experience, across various industries, most recently as CHRO at Hilti.  She creates work environments where people can realize their potential while also achieving business success. Sabine is committed to leadership development and is active in various associations and networks to mentor and support emerging leaders. She also brings experience from serving on various supervisory boards in both academia and industry. Her international experience and expertise in organizational and leadership development will be a valuable asset to the Board of Directors. 

Christian Hürlimann 

Christian is the newly appointed Director of the Swiss hotel trade association HotellerieSuisse, as he has taken over from Nicole Brändle on the 1st of June. A seasoned executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience in the hospitality sector, Christian is a hotelier and has held key roles at Eldora Group. He currently leads Add-On GmbH, his own hospitality consulting company. He is also a certified board member of the Swiss Board School of the University of St-Gallen. His strategic insight and deep industry knowledge will be a strong addition to the Board.
