Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Unveils The Next Chapter of Global “Special Happens…” Experiences For Guests (Plus New General Manager Job Leads)

World-renowned luxury hospitality brand, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, today reveals the next evolution of its signature global brand campaign with several new experiences putting a spotlight on “Special Happens...” for guests. Building on the success of Make Special Happen, Fairmont's new brand campaign honoring its century-long legacy of hosting the world's most iconic celebrations, this next chapter transforms the spirit of the campaign into reality through a collection of global elevated experiences.
Each experience is crafted to capture the essence of Fairmont's inclusive approach to hospitality, which is deeply felt, leading with empathy and sincerity while creating a true sense of belonging. There are four “Special Happens...” categories in the series: “After Dark”; “In the Wild”; “Around the Table” and “In the Spotlight” each embodying how Fairmont Makes Special Happen on a daily basis in each of its 96 hotels and resorts globally.

Special Happens... After Dark - At Fairmont Mumbai, nightfall brings with it a new kind of restoration. The Traveler's Reset at Blu Xone - Fairmont Spa & Longevity is an exclusive and pioneering after-dark ritual created to counter the effects of long flights, shifting time zones, and restless sleep. Blending advanced therapies with ancient healing wisdom, the transformative wellness ritual – a one-of-a-kind experience in Mumbai - guides guests from fatigue to renewal beneath a canopy of stars.
As day melts into twilight, Fairmont Mayakoba invites guests to honor one of Mexico's most meaningful traditions with the Día de Muertos Dinner Experience bookable exclusively for the month of November. Perfect for private parties of between six and fourteen, guests can immerse themselves in the flavors, colors, and spirit of Día de Muertos, with dishes served family-style, inspired by ancestral recipes, regional ingredients, and the rituals that bring families together to remember and rejoice. More than a meal, it is a celebration of life, culture, and the moments that make every gathering truly special.
Fairmont Makati's Moonlight Silent Cinema invites guests to experience Manila's first poolside movie night under the stars with a blend of cinematic storytelling and refined relaxation. Set against the backdrop of the hotel's iconic skyline, guests can float on plush loungers, indulge in curated bento-style dinners inspired by each film, and tune in through silent-disco headsets for a fully immersive experience.
Special Happens... In the Wild - At Fairmont Orchid, adventure meets artistry with the Reel in Your Dream Adventure experience— a private deep-sea fishing experience along the pristine Kohala Coast of Hawai'i Island. Guests set sail across crystal waters to reel in their own prized Ahi Tuna, guided by Fairmont Orchid's Executive Chef, who shares expert culinary insights along the way. Upon return, Chef Zaid Khan transforms the fresh catch into an exquisite oceanfront dinner overlooking Pauoa Bay in an unforgettable celebration of Hawai'i's beauty.
Fairmont Kea Lani invites guests to embark on the Helicopter Cocktail Odyssey experience for an elevated farm-to-glass experience that begins with a private helicopter flight over Maui's breathtaking coastline to the lush sugarcane fields of Kuleana Rum Works. Around the Table - Twice a year, Fairmont Taghazout's two iconic restaurants team up to invite guests to Around the Table, a trilogy of exclusive culinary experiences featuring two world-renowned chefs, Chef Masaharu Morimoto of Morimoto and Chef Fabrizio Aceti of Paper Moon. Over three unforgettable nights, guests savor an intimate Chef's Table dinner, an immersive tasting journey, and the unveiling of each restaurant's new seasonal menu. From Morimoto's dramatic live tuna-cutting ritual paired with Moroccan wines to Aceti's handcrafted pastas complemented by fine Italian vintages, every moment transforms gastronomy into art.
Fairmont Ambassador Seoul invites couples to a Cinematic K-Romance one-of-a-kind proposal experience in the elegant private dining room of Mariposa, where modern luxury meets the beauty of Korean culture. Guests enjoy a refined six-course dinner enhanced by hanbok-inspired floral arrangements and live serenades of beloved K-Drama love songs. The evening is elevated with champagne, a personalized proposal cake, and sweeping views of Yeouido's sparkling skyline.
Fairmont Singapore invites guests to an elevated Harvest-to-Table Lunch experience during the months of October, November and December only, that marries sustainability, culinary artistry and breathtaking city views. The journey begins at the hotel's aquaponics farm, where guests harvest fresh herbs and vegetables under the guidance of the farm manager and Executive Chef Seamus, gaining a rare, hands-on connection with ingredient origins. The experience continues at SKAI on the 70th floor, where a three-course lunch crafted from the morning's harvest is paired with premium wines, following an exclusive cellar tour led by Sommelier Luca.
