Sitting in the heart of neighborhoods around the globe, Hotel Indigo – part of IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) – is doubling its portfolio over the next three to five years – meaning more Hotel Indigo properties in more parts of the world.

With 154 open hotels across 25 countries, Hotel Indigo currently stands as the second largest brand within IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, only behind InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. Continuing its growth, the brand is expanding its stay offerings in the lifestyle segment by introducing five new resort properties in 2024 – spanning from the azure shores of the Cayman Islands to the majestic peaks of Oman's mountain ranges.

"Each Hotel Indigo is a vibrant reflection of its surrounding landscape, intricately woven with the threads of its local neighborhood,” said Carol Hoeller, Vice President of Global Brand Management for Hotel Indigo and voco Hotels. “Although Hotel Indigo is often associated with urban settings, neighborhoods can be found in every corner of the globe, each with its own story waiting to be discovered, so it only made sense as we strive to set new standards in the ‘premium lifestyle’ space to expand our resorts offerings across the portfolio.”

The resort segment, while not new to the Hotel Indigo brand – currently has 15 open resorts across six regions. This segment of the brand is an important area of growth, with 34 additional resorts in the pipeline. This expansion will allow the brand to further deliver on its proposition to provide vibrant, local and personalized guest experiences, in truly one-of-a-kind travel destinations.
