Shining in Global Rankings: Showcasing Hong Kong’s Excellence in Luxury Hospitality

It has been an exceptional year for Hong Kong’s tourism and hospitality. This series of prestigious global accolades represents not only the success of individual sectors, but a collective achievement for Hong Kong’s entire tourism ecosystem. From the aviation sector’s continued recognition at the Skytrax Awards and the repeated success of acclaimed restaurants and bars in the "Asia’s 50 Best" rankings, to five Hong Kong hotels earning places on "The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026" list and its extended list, these achievements reflect excellence across the industry. Together, they showcase Hong Kong’s strength as a global travel destination.

Notably, Hong Kong-headquartered Rosewood Hotel Group achieved historic results, with Rosewood Hong Kong once again claiming the top spot as the "World’s Best Hotel" after taking the title last year, becoming the first hotel in the history of the ranking to receive the accolade for two years in a row.

Rosewood Hotel Group was crowned the "Most Admired Hotel Group Award 2026" in recognition of its unique service philosophy.

Rosewood Hong Kong, The Upper House, The Peninsula Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, and Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong were selected for this year's global top 50 and extended lists. These international honors not only affirm the strength of Hong Kong’s hospitality industry, but also showcase the city’s spirit to set a global benchmark for service excellence.

Other properties within Rosewood Hotel Group's portfolio recognized for this year's global top 50 and extended lists include Rosewood São Paulo (No. 6), Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel (No. 14), Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort (No. 25), Rosewood London (No. 56), Castiglion del Bosco, A Rosewood Hotel (No. 62), and Rosewood Bangkok (No. 70).
