IHG accelerates growth in Vietnam with voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang – By IHG

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – 4 June 2025: IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has accelerated its growth in Vietnam by signing a hotel management agreement with Nha Trang Bay JSC, a member of the GreenSpark Group.

The spectacular voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang – By IHG will sit at the heart of the coastal city of Nha Trang when it opens near the end of this year. The 250-key property will offer panoramic sea views across its 28 floors once it is completed and will meet the increasing demand for great stay experiences in the city best known for its pristine white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and fresh seafood.

Less than an hour’s drive from Cam Ranh International Airport, voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang – By IHG will be located within Nha Trang JSC’s largest real estate construction, part of an up-and-coming tourism masterplan development designed to unlock the area’s strong growth potential. It will enjoy direct access to the coastline and it has many popular nearby attractions such as Nha Trang Beach, Ponagar Temple, Vinh Hai Market, marinas and well-known mud-spa parks.

Facilities at voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang – by IHG include a swimming pool, restaurant and bars and meeting facilities. It will be IHG’s fourth hotel in the region, joining InterContinental Nha Trang, InterContinental Residences Nha Trang and Six Senses Ninh Van Bay.


Nha Trang, the capital of Khánh Hòa Province, is growing in popularity. In 2024, it recorded 80% year-on-year tourism growth, with the Khanh Hòa Province welcoming 10.8 million visitors, including 4.8 million international arrivals attracted to Nha Trang’s stunning beaches, diving sites and fresh seafood.


Vietnam continues to be a strong growth market for IHG, with 20 hotels across eight brands – Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, Regent Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Vignette Collection, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, voco hotels and Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts – and 22 properties in its pipeline.
