IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, today welcomes Yas World Resort, previously Yas Plaza Hotels, to Vignette Collection on Yas Island. A portfolio of distinctive independent hotels, Vignette Collection offers one-of-a-kind stays in destinations to remember. Developed by Aldar, the resort brings six distinct hotels together in one integrated destination, making it the largest Vignette Collection property in the world. Across more than 1,400 rooms and suites, guests can choose from six hotel experiences, with shared access to the resort’s private beach, dining, pools, wellness and leisure facilities, and Yas Island’s world-class theme parks. This milestone strengthens IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio – the second largest in the world – and reflects its continued growth across the Middle East.

Central to Vignette Collection is the balance of individuality and belonging. A family of like-minded hotels, each Vignette Collection property is entirely individual in its identity, yet united by the vision to offer a more authentic way to travel. Yas World Resort brings the brand's One-of-a-Kind Stays hallmark to life six times over. Inspired by the spirit of Yas Island, each hotel has its own personality, story, and sense of place: Verde draws on the surrounding mangroves, Vista on the bay, Pulse on the circuit and motorsport, Horizon on the marina, Fairway on the island's golf landscape, and Haven on the comfort and space of a longer stay. Together, they are united by the brand's shared vision to harness travel’s ability to benefit local people and places, weaving responsibility, community, and locality into every stay.

Aldar Hospitality CEO, Kapil Aggarwal, said: “Yas World Resort marks an important milestone in Aldar's hospitality transformation and reflects our long-term commitment to Yas Island as one of the world's leading leisure and entertainment destinations. By reimagining six hotels as one connected resort, opening private beach access at Cyan Beach and partnering with IHG to bring Vignette Collection to the island, we have created a destination that offers greater choice, richer experiences, and lasting value for guests and for Abu Dhabi's tourism sector. It is a clear example of how we continue to invest in places that grow and evolve with the emirate's ambitions.”

Small Tip To Landing Good Senior-Level Hotel Management Positions in 2026 & 2027

Many of our members have remained with us since the inception of our job lead service nine years ago. They continue to renew their memberships, staying on board even after securing new positions, and for good reason.

Daily, our editors dispatch bulletins detailing new job vacancies, projects, and industry shifts, including hotel launches, expansions, strategies, and market trends.

We recognize that numerous long-standing, senior-level members utilize these bulletins as conversation starters, reaching out to hotel chains and potential employers, sometimes with unsolicited applications and messages. LHN endorses such proactive engagement. It's an excellent, informal method to gain early interest from prominent hotel groups and upcoming projects, indicating your interest and broadening your opportunities for intriguing interviews or discussions about potential roles, particularly at the upper echelons of management.

Our editors also keep these proactive efforts in mind, shaping many bulletins to cover "new openings, new projects, and new market developments."

While membership spots for 2026 are limited, it's not too late to renew.- Read more here
