Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) Continues Its Accelerated Growth Momentum

~ SIGNS 46 AND UNVEILS 26 NEW HOTELS ACROSS DESTINATIONS

~ ACHIEVES A MILESTONE OF 250+ OPERATING HOTELS IN INDIA WITH 25,500 ROOMS


Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, continues its accelerated growth momentum in the first half of FY2026 with 46 signings and 26 new openings which includes 14 additions through the marketing and distribution partnership with Brij Hospitality and Clarks Group of Hotels.


Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “Reflective of the growing potential of the mid-scale to upscale segment, a significant share of the 46 signings in the first half of this fiscal were across IHCL’s Gateway, Tree of Life and Ginger brands. This momentum in growth was enabled through multi hotel framework agreements with the Ambuja Neotia group for Taj, SeleQtions and Tree of Life brands and with Madison for the Ginger brand in south India.”


She added, “Expanding its footprint, hotels under Taj brand were signedin locations like Darjeeling, ECR Chennai, Pondicherry, Mohali and in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Fueled bythis strong growth,IHCL is well poised to achieve its goal of a 700-hotel portfolio under its strategy - Accelerate 2030.”


Ms. Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President – Hotel Openings & New Businesses, IHCL added, “Maintaining a robust pace of openings, IHCL opened 12 hotels and on boarded 14 more in H1 of FY2026. Entering new locations, we opened a Taj in Alibaug and Raichak and two SeleQtions resorts in Lakshadweep and a Vivanta in Thane. We strengthened our presence in existing markets of Udaipur with our fourth Taj hotel - Taj Lalit Bagh, a Gateway in Coorg and Ahmedabad and added a second SeleQtions in Haridwar as well as a Ginger in Dehradun. With the addition of these new hotels, IHCL reaches a milestone of 250+ operating hotels in India with 25,500 rooms.”
