Rosewood Hotel Group to debut properties in Japan, the Netherlands, and Qatar, alongside introduction of standalone Rosewood Residence in the US + new launches in China, Mexico, and the United Kingdom

Currently, the Rosewood Hotel Group has over 30 properties under development worldwide and it continues to expand its global portfolio. This year marks the debut of Rosewood properties in Japan, the Netherlands, and Qatar, alongside the introduction of the first standalone Rosewood Residence in the United States and new launches in China, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. These new developments emphasize the Group's strong presence in key markets globally while maintaining a steadfast dedication to providing unparalleled luxury lifestyle hospitality to guests around the world.

As the first Rosewood property in Japan, Rosewood Miyakojima is slated to be an elegant retreat weaving local craftsmanship with innovative design. It creates a destination that immerses guests in the island’s essence through exclusive, sustainable, and community-driven experiences, blending nature and culture to differentiate itself from conventional Japanese tourist spots.


Rosewood Amsterdam, a historical masterpiece situated in the former Palace of Justice, will debut in the Netherlands in June as the latest hotel development housed within a monumental building in the UNESCO-listed Amsterdam Canal District. It offers a unique cultural experience that elegantly combines the rich history of the original building with Rosewood’s signature lifestyle.


With the opening of Rosewood Doha in the second half of this year, the Group is solidifying its strategic expansion into the Middle East. Located in Lusail, Qatar’s “City of the Future”, Rosewood Doha serves as a hub for the culturally curious, inviting guests to discover the soul of Qatar — both its deep-rooted traditions and the dynamism that lies ahead.


Rosewood Mandarina joins the Group’s portfolio as its fourth property in Mexico, a renowned destination for luxury travelers today. Located on the country’s west coast, the resort will be situated in the breathtaking region of Riviera Nayarit, which boasts almost 200 miles of beach along the Pacific Ocean. Emphasizing the element of “water,” the resort provides guests with exclusive access to three diverse environments: the beach, The Flatlands, and the mountains, each offering unique activities.


In the United Kingdom, The Chancery Rosewood is the brand’s second London property, set in the city’s distinguished Mayfair district and the iconic former Embassy of the United States. It combines legacy and innovation, drawing on the local sensibilities of the destination to enhance the property experience in myriad ways, including expert-led design and décor.
