Service Message: Researchers from the Leading Hoteliers Network in the MEA region have issued an alert concerning local job databases in the region

In recent months, our MEA researchers have observed a surge in job databases listing General Manager positions in the region. While we will not identify these databases, which we deem unreliable, their numbers are significant. For clarity, we assure that the Leading Hoteliers Network rigorously verifies all General Manager job leads, ensuring they originate from reputable recruiters, hotel groups, or independent hotels.

We do not endorse leads from these new emerging databases, which appear to be operated by inexperienced individuals possibly seeking quick profits. This issue is particularly prevalent in Dubai, KSA, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi.

Kind regards
