STATUS ON NETWORKING & BLOGGING IN THE FUTURE

Dear all members,

- As you noticed, when you signed up and logged in the first time on the member-platfom, there is both a Networking Forum and a "Live Chat" - And then there is Leading Hoteliers Network's many groups on Linkedin - It is clear, that the situation in our industry has moved our member's focus on to the job lead service "mostly" since before March, but we would like to encourage and initiate more networking activity.

- CONFIDENTIALITY IS THE KEY IN Leading Hoteliers Network - With a very few exceptions, almost all our members - You're fellow-members - Are "senior-level" hotel executives in the very best hotels across the world - We know many of you want the privacy, but there is great potential & opportunities in debatting and sharing information right now.

- This week, we're improving the Network Forum - The Live Chat is working - We encourage you to use the Networking Forum, when we open it up again end of next week. Sharing information, experiences, best practices, etc at this point could create great synergies ( also note comments about the blog, see below ).

Regarding the Blog on LHN -

As you noticed, we have simply cleared the blog out for postings this week.

- Not only because some of the posts were from years before and irrelevant to the current situation in our industry, but some visitors have been changing photos and the main posts, which is not a good idea - We refer to our code of conduct to these visitors, pls read more here https://www.leading-hoteliers.com/code - We also noticed, that somebody has share username and password with more users - All our member's passwords and usernames are "private and personal" and must not be shared with other - We do not have cooperate members - Only private members - Our web team can see immediately, when more than one person use same usernames and passwords, and LHN reserves the right to cancel memberships and disassociates itself from any members, who violates these important private member / confidentiality terms and conditions. Confidentiality is the key in our network.

.. But the most important message to you regarding the Blog is, that we by end of next week expect to be launching a new version of the posting database - Our photos were compromised in the current setup, so we have chosen no longer to have photos in the posts, but will be referening directrly to the press releases in the Member Direct Links directory - The blog will again allow you to both comment, -chat and network under each posting - We will be sending you furhter instructions, when the new blog i ready - Expected end of next week.
