An experienced General Manager is leading Zurich's oldest grand hotel.
Mr. Reiner began his career in 2004 as a Management Trainee at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Since then, he has assumed various roles throughout Europe and the United States. After managing Soho House Berlin from 2017 to 2018, Reiner returned to Mandarin Oriental and successfully led the Munich property.
"I am honored to have been given the opportunity to lead Zurich's oldest grand hotel, a responsibility that I take on with the greatest respect. Together with my team, I will do everything I can to uphold the legacy of this splendid property. My goal is to establish Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich as a hub and meeting place for all residents of Zurich. I am incredibly excited to contribute to a new chapter for this legendary hotel in the beautiful centre of Zurich," Mr. Reiner said.
A native Bavarian with family roots in Allgäu, Mr. Reiner has pursued international tourism and hotel management programs, including studies at ISM International School of Management in Dortmund, Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, and in New Zealand.
