The hotel's interiors, reimagined by Spanish interior designer Isabel López Vilalta + Asociados, reinterpret the building's cinematic past through a contemporary lens, with guests entering through the former stage and passing beneath the proscenium arch. Room categories are aligned to a cinematic narrative, beginning with 'Gallery' rooms and progressing through 'Amphitheatre' and 'Grand Stalls' to the 'Front Box' and 'Corner Box' suites, culminating in the Cupula Suite beneath the restored dome. Every room also functions as an exhibition space, featuring a site-specific collection of 81 works by Basque artist Lander Andonegi. The hotel's culinary offering is anchored by Lotu, a new dining destination led by acclaimed Basque chef Andoni Luis Aduriz, whose restaurant reinterprets classic dishes through a contemporary lens. The project, promoted and managed by local company Sade, has generated approximately 70 jobs. The hotel is expected to achieve an average room rate of €300 per night for a double room in 2026. Simon Vincent, Executive Vice President and President, EMEA at Hilton, said San Sebastián is one of Europe's most compelling destinations, and the opening represents an important addition to Hilton's portfolio, bringing new life to one of the city's most iconic historic buildings. The opening strengthens Hilton's offering in Spain, where the company now has more than 65 hotels trading and in the pipeline....
