Dorchester Collection Appoints New General Manager of Hotel Eden, Rome

Dorchester Collection has announced the appointment of Tristan Delaittre as General Manager of Hotel Eden in Rome, effective October 1, 2026. Having held senior leadership positions across Dorchester Collection for more than seven years, Delaittre joins Hotel Eden as Rome continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe's leading luxury destinations.
With extensive experience in luxury hospitality, hotel operations, and gastronomy, Delaittre takes on the role following his most recent position as Dorchester Collection's corporate director of food and beverage. In this position, he oversaw food and beverage strategy across the collection's ten hotels, shaping the brand's dining destinations and leading the development of new concepts for upcoming hotel openings, including The Alba in Dubai (2028) and Tokyo (2029).
Prior to this, Delaittre served as food and beverage director at Dorchester Collection's Le Meurice in Paris, where he directed operations across the hotel's acclaimed restaurants, bars, events, and in-room dining, including the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant le Meurice Alain Ducasse.

Canopy Deer Valley Debuts in Park City

Canopy Deer Valley has opened in Park City, marking the Canopy Hotels brand's entry into Utah and its ski resort debut. Developed by Extell Development Company, the 180-room lifestyle hotel is located in Deer Valley East Village, at the base of Deer Valley Resort, approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.
With interiors by DLR Group | BraytonHughes, Canopy Deer Valley offers a contemporary interpretation of the traditional mountain lodge, drawing from Park City's mining history and the natural character of Deer Valley. Industrial materials, warm wood finishes, and layered textures reference the region's history while creating comfortable, residential-style spaces.
The hotel introduces four original dining concepts led by Executive Chef Scott Rackliff, whose resume includes stints at Eleven Madison Park and Daniel Boulud's Dinex Group. Naples Grande Beach Resort to Debut as Signia Hilton

Hilton has signed an agreement to add Naples Grande Beach Resort in Florida to its Signia Hilton portfolio, marking the brand's first property on Florida's Gulf Coast. The 474-room property, including 50 villas, will open as Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort and has started accepting reservations for stays from January 1, 2027.
The resort is currently undergoing a major transformation, with redesigned guest rooms and suites, new culinary options, wellness facilities, and updated social and event spaces. Located along three miles of Gulf Coast beach, the resort will feature a luxury spa, several pools, tennis facilities, and a range of indoor and outdoor venues for gatherings.
The property will become Signia Hilton's third location in Florida, joining Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort.

Marriott International Signs Landmark Agreement with CP Group for Three Hotels in New Zealand

Marriott International has signed agreements with CP Group to bring three new hotels to New Zealand, further strengthening Marriott's growing presence across the country. The agreement is expected to mark the country debut of flagship brand Marriott Hotels in Rotorua as well as Autograph Collection in Auckland and Wellington.
The three hotels are expected to open between 2026 and 2029, introducing guests and Marriott Bonvoy members to new accommodation options across New Zealand's North Island. Rotorua Marriott Hotel is slated to mark Marriott's entry in Rotorua through a conversion deal of the existing Arawa Park Hotel Rotorua, with a comprehensive 12-month renovation and launching in late 2027.
The Official Auckland, Autograph Collection is set to bring the Autograph Collection brand to Auckland in 2028, marking the brand's arrival in the city through the transformation of a historic building on Eden Crescent in Auckland's central business district, expected to feature 82 rooms. Fable Wellington, Autograph Collection will bring the Autograph Collection brand to Wellington, anticipated to open in 2029, through the repurposing of the historic 1940s office building located on the corner of Lambton Quay and Stout Street, with plans to feature 118 rooms.

Shangri-La Group Announces Songtei Kyoto, Shangri-La Signatures

Shangri-La Group has announced Songtei Kyoto, Shangri-La Signatures, the latest member of its luxury Signatures brand, set to open in Kyoto, Japan. The hotel will be located opposite the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nijo Castle and will feature 77 guest rooms and suites, becoming the second property in the Shangri-La Signatures collection.
Songtei Kyoto is rooted in local cultural heritage, offering immersive experiences across art, wellness, dining, and storytelling. The hotel reinterprets the quiet elegance, grand scale, and ceremonial beauty of a prestigious Edo-period Kyoto residence through a contemporary lens, brought to life through Shangri-La's Asian hospitality.
The hotel is situated on the former site of the Kyoto Shoshidai residence, an important historical landmark. Hyatt Announces Plans for First JdV by Hyatt Hotel in the UK

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans for the first JdV by Hyatt hotel in the UK at the Oxford Witney Hotel. InnPractice has been appointed by CL Capital to operate the hotel following its expected transition to the JdV by Hyatt brand.

Hyatt and Delta Air Lines Announce Long-Term Strategic Loyalty Collaboration

Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Delta Air Lines have announced a long-term strategic loyalty collaboration designed to connect their World of Hyatt and Delta SkyMiles programs. The new relationship is expected to launch in the coming months, with the initial benefits focused on elite members of both loyalty programs.
Under the planned collaboration, eligible World of Hyatt elite members will be able to earn World of Hyatt points on qualifying Delta airfare purchases within eligible fare classes. Delta SkyMiles Medallion members will be eligible to earn Delta miles on qualifying stays at participating Hyatt properties.

Update on American Airlines and Hyatt Relationship

American Airlines and Hyatt have announced that after careful consideration, they have mutually decided not to continue their enhanced relationship. Throughout the transition, both companies are committed to preserving the benefits members can earn through the current earning year in each program.
For the remainder of each program's current earning year, AAdvantage® and World of Hyatt members will see no interruption in earning, selecting, and redeeming their eligible benefits. AAdvantage® members who have linked their accounts by November 15 can continue earning World of Hyatt awards through Loyalty Point Rewards through February 28, 2027. IHG and ALAND Sign Landmark 15-Hotel Deal to Launch Staybridge Suites in Australia

IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a landmark Master Development Agreement with leading Australian property developer ALAND to launch Staybridge Suites, IHG's globally established upscale extended-stay brand, in Australia and build a significant national portfolio. Under the agreement, ALAND will have exclusive development rights for Staybridge Suites in Australia, with a portfolio of at least 15 hotels comprising a minimum of 2,000 rooms to be developed across the country. The agreement represents a substantial expansion of the partnership between IHG and ALAND and establishes a long-term development pathway for the brand in Australia.
Alongside the Master Development Agreement, IHG and ALAND have signed the first two franchise agreements for Staybridge Suites in Australia: the 130-room Staybridge Suites Sydney Parramatta and 112-room Staybridge Suites Sydney Leppington, both in Greater Western Sydney, to be managed by Signature Hotel Management Group. The two hotels will form the first phase of the national portfolio and build on IHG and ALAND's growing relationship, following the recent opening of the 130-room voco Gosford within ALAND's Archibald precinct. Parramatta is firmly established as one of Sydney's major commercial centres, while Leppington's proximity to Western Sydney International Airport and the emerging Aerotropolis provides a complementary location for the brand's extended-stay proposition. Staybridge Suites has 355 open hotels and a further 152 in the pipeline.

DoubleTree by Hilton to Debut in Parramatta as Hilton Expands Greater Sydney Pipeline

Hilton has signed DoubleTree by Hilton Parramatta, a 100-room hotel slated to open in late 2028 at 34 Hassall Street in Parramatta, New South Wales, marking the brand's debut in one of Western Sydney's fastest-growing commercial and infrastructure hubs. The hotel will form part of Deicorp Group's Cosmopolitan mixed-use development and will be operated by Trilogy Hotels. The Cosmopolitan project will deliver 597 apartments across two 46-storey towers, retail, commercial, and dining to the area. The signing introduces Hilton to the Parramatta market and brings DoubleTree by Hilton's signature warm welcome to one of Greater Sydney's fastest-growing commercial centres.
DoubleTree by Hilton Parramatta will feature guest rooms ranging from 20 to 45 square metres, an all-day dining restaurant and lounge, 667 square metres of event space including meeting rooms, a boardroom and pre-function areas, and fitness and wellness facilities designed for today's business and leisure traveller. The property will be located adjacent to the Robin Thomas light rail stop, with convenient access to Parramatta Railway Station, Parramatta Wharf, Parramatta Square, Westmead Health Precinct and Western Sydney University. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Introduces Its Summer 2028 Mediterranean & Northern Europe Season

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has opened reservations for its Summer 2028 European itineraries, which include 52 voyages aboard Evrima and Ilma across the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. The line's season runs from late April through October 2028, sailing throughout the coastal regions of the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Two new ports of call, Gijón, Spain and Portovenere, Italy, expand the season's offerings, alongside greater exploration of the Greek Isles and the Adriatic aboard Ilma. Voyages range from four to nine nights, including roundtrip departures from Rome, Monte Carlo, Athens, Venice, and Reykjavík.
