Mexican firm Grupo Inmobiliario GFA, internationally recognized for setting new standards in high-end real estate development, and global hospitality leader Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announce the signing of Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara (The Residences). Expected to deliver in Winter 2029, this milestone project marks the debut of the first Waldorf Astoria standalone branded residence in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America and exemplifies the continued growth of the Waldorf Astoria residential portfolio globally.

Inspired by the vibrant spirit of Jalisco, in western Mexico, the property will offer residences that carry both local prestige and the global heritage of Waldorf Astoria, blending contemporary architecture, coveted home features, and world-class personalized services.

“Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara redefines what luxury living means in Mexico,” said Marcos Fasja, CEO, GFA. “For GFA, it represents an opportunity to take our vision of design and exclusivity to a new level, positioning Guadalajara as a reference point for high-end real estate.”

The Residences will rise 128 meters, forming a striking 30-story tower, redefining the city skyline. The one- to four-bedroom residences will embody the highest standards of luxury, comfort, and functionality, underscoring GFA’s commitment to excellence, tradition, and the future of Guadalajara as a global city and cultural capital.

“As the first standalone Waldorf Astoria branded residences in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America, Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara marks an extraordinary milestone in our portfolio,” said Jonathan Wingo, global head, residential programs, Hilton. “The development pairs the brand’s world-class service and refined design with the energy of a thriving city, creating a first-of-its-kind homeownership opportunity for discerning buyers.”

With architecture by Gensler and interiors curated by Cuaik Architects, Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara establishes a design narrative rooted in craftsmanship and a refined material palette. The 114 private residences are thoughtfully conceived to balance comfort with sophistication through considered spatial layouts and elevated finishes.

The Residences will bring Waldorf Astoria’s legacy of Sincerely Elegant Service into a private residential setting. Owners will enjoy more than 3,000 m² of amenities crafted for wellness, socializing, and recreation, including: a lounge, coffee bar, outdoor pool and jacuzzi, sports bar, residents’ kitchen, library, cinema, children’s playroom, kids’ playground, pet park, fitness center, yoga studio, spa, massage rooms, sky bar, and fire pit.

The highly anticipated development is part of Waldorf Astoria’s global branded residential portfolio, comprising 29 properties either operating or in the pipeline across resort settings and iconic urban destinations. As the first standalone Waldorf Astoria branded residences in the CALA region, its arrival in Guadalajara underscores Hilton’s continued expansion in the branded residential sector and reflects the region’s growing appeal among buyers seeking a globally recognized, service-rich luxury living experience. ....Read more here - Hotel Management Global Outlook Link
