Kamala Beach’s newest residential landmark redefines luxury living on Thailand’s largest island

Phuket, Thailand – 12 January 2026: IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, announces a partnership with Proud Real Estate Public Company Limited (PROUD) for The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort.

The ultra-exclusive development features just 111 residences, from stylish one-bedroom units starting at 59 square metres to expansive five-bedroom penthouses spanning 425 square metres. Each residence is seamlessly connected to InterContinental Phuket Resort – the only InterContinental property honoured with the prestigious Two Michelin Keys award.

This collaboration strengthens the long-standing relationship between IHG and PROUD, extending it to two branded residence projects in Thailand, building on the success of InterContinental Residences Hua Hin.

It’s another milestone for the world’s first and largest international luxury hotel brand, which is developing iconic residences synonymous with cultural discovery, inspired by an unrivalled knowledge of the world.

Vivek Bhalla, Managing Director, South East Asia & Korea, IHG Hotels & Resorts said: “Phuket continues to mature as one of Asia’s most desirable destinations for travellers and homeowners, and I am delighted to celebrate the launch of The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort with Proud Real Estate. This marks the second branded residences we’ve had the pleasure of working together on, following the success of InterContinental Residences Hua Hin, and builds on InterContinental’s legacy of refined hospitality, translating that service into everyday living. The project adds to IHG’s growing momentum in the branded residential market, with over 30 developments that are open or selling properties in the world’s most sought-after urban and resort destinations.”

Ms. Proudputh Liptapanlop, Executive Director of PROUD, added: “The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort has been designed under the concept of ‘Live Beyond Boundaries in Paradise’. This ultra-exclusive residential development comprises only 111 units, situated in Phuket’s renowned ‘Millionaire Mile’ – a prestigious enclave celebrated for its natural beauty and affluent lifestyle. Nestled within this ‘Hidden Gem’ of the island, residents enjoy serene surroundings alongside convenient access to essential lifestyle amenities.”

The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort provides access to a wealth of services and facilities, including 24/7 concierge support, resident-only pools, entertainment, and function spaces. Additionally, residents benefit from easy access to Michelin-recognised restaurants, while spa and yacht services are available through the adjacent InterContinental Phuket Resort. IHG One Rewards membership status benefits and PROUD privileges curated to enhance lifestyles are available for selected customers.

Phuket ranks as the world’s seventh-largest hub for branded residences, with a combined value of USD 2.3 billion. This exclusive property will deliver the exceptional service and standards synonymous with InterContinental – the world’s first and largest international luxury hotel brand. With a legacy spanning nearly 80 years and a presence in more than 230 hotels worldwide, InterContinental continues to set the benchmark for luxury hospitality.

Small Tip To Landing Good Senior-Level Hotel Management Positions in 2026

Many of our members have remained with us since the inception of our job lead service seven years ago. They continue to renew their memberships, staying on board even after securing new positions, and for good reason.

Daily, our editors dispatch bulletins detailing new job vacancies, projects, and industry shifts, including hotel launches, expansions, strategies, and market trends.

We recognize that numerous long-standing, senior-level members utilize these bulletins as conversation starters, reaching out to hotel chains and potential employers, sometimes with unsolicited applications and messages. LHN endorses such proactive engagement. It's an excellent, informal method to gain early interest from prominent hotel groups and upcoming projects, indicating your interest and broadening your opportunities for intriguing interviews or discussions about potential roles, particularly at the upper echelons of management.

Our editors also keep these proactive efforts in mind, shaping many bulletins to cover "new openings, new projects, and new market developments."
