Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como is delighted to announce its reopening for the season with a redesigned restaurant, new signature spa treatments, and La Primavera in Lake Como accommodation package.
New design for L'ARIA restaurant
Architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron has completed the restyling of L'ARIA, enhancing existing spaces and improving their functionality. This follows the restoration of the resort's iconic floating pool and other key areas of Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como, including the Spa, NAMI Cafe, and the bistro inside historic Villa Roccabruna.
A warm, tactile palette defines interiors; Venetian terrazzo style interacts with Italian marble and polished dark woods; and fabrics in old-rose tones and details inspired by the surrounding garden contribute to an intimate, sophisticated atmosphere. An elegant sculptural counter provides a social focal point, transforming from breakfast buffet to aperitivo bar. The spaces flow naturally from the veranda to the panoramic terrace and the lakeside greenhouse, and a striking ceiling clad in pressed cast glass together with brass elements reflects light to create an ever-changing luminous effect.
New gourmet experience
Welcoming guests from breakfast to aperitivo and dinner, the L'ARIA dining experience culminates in a cuisine curated by Executive Chef Massimiliano Blasone. Weaving together local flavors and Eastern techniques, the menu ranges from dishes cooked on the robata (traditional Japanese grill) to a selection of raw fish and light tempura, and Italian classics with a contemporary twist. A beautiful collection of traditionally handcrafted ceramics by a local artisan, inspired by the lake's natural elements, enriches the experience.
Further culinary selections
CO.MO Bar & Bistrot is the place to be on Lake Como. Featuring contemporary cuisine alongside a cocktail list that reads like a Drinkbook to Italy, it offers a flavorful Italian journey. The fresh and informal NAMI Cafe, with its stylish lakefront setting, offers Asian-inspired cuisine, and an international twist enriches its healthy and comforting options.
New signature treatments by 111SKIN
The award-winning Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como has introduced four signature treatments by 111SKIN. Founded in 2012 by world-renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, 111SKIN is a global skincare brand that bridges the gap between clinical science and glamour. Among the highlights, the Black Diamond Non-Surgical Lift Facial, one of the brand's most celebrated treatments, smooths, brightens, and redefines facial contours, while the Reparative Longevity Facial deeply nourishes and rebalances the skin, strengthening its barrier. These are joined by the Even Glow Sculpting Facial, a brightening and regenerating treatment, and the Cryo Radiance Facial, a revitalizing ritual that uses cryotherapy to stimulate microcirculation, reduce signs of fatigue, and restore energy to the skin. These four complementary experiences reflect the resort's innovative approach to wellness, combining visible results with a deeply regenerating sensory dimension.
This accommodation package combines relaxation, gastronomy, and discovery of the local area. Priced from EUR 1,770 per night for two people, it includes:
two nights' accommodation
breakfast at L'ARIA restaurant
special lunch at CO.MO Bar & Bistrot
Spa treatment for two, designed to rejuvenate in a nature-immersed setting
choice of outdoor activity, such as a guided walk along Lake Como's slopes or an alternative wellness experience.

Small Tip To Landing Good Senior-Level Hotel Management Positions in 2026
Many of our members have remained with us since the inception of our job lead service seven years ago. They continue to renew their memberships, staying on board even after securing new positions, and for good reason.
Daily, our editors dispatch bulletins detailing new job vacancies, projects, and industry shifts, including hotel launches, expansions, strategies, and market trends.
We recognize that numerous long-standing, senior-level members utilize these bulletins as conversation starters, reaching out to hotel chains and potential employers, sometimes with unsolicited applications and messages. LHN endorses such proactive engagement. It's an excellent, informal method to gain early interest from prominent hotel groups and upcoming projects, indicating your interest and broadening your opportunities for intriguing interviews or discussions about potential roles, particularly at the upper echelons of management.
Our editors also keep these proactive efforts in mind, shaping many bulletins to cover "new openings, new projects, and new market developments."
