Participating hotels will introduce exclusive cherry blossom–inspired packages and culinary experiences, including:

  • Marriott Marquis Washington, DC

At Dignitary, the signature bar at Marriott Marquis Washington, DC, cherry blossom season is marked with a Cherry Blossom-inspired Japanese whisky flight. The hand-selected flight highlights distinct styles, from Koji fermented barley‑whisky to refined single malt and balanced blends, offering a nuanced exploration of modern Japanese whisky. Complementing the flight, the Lobby Bar will debut the Order of the Samurai, a cocktail crafted with Japanese whisky, Green Chartreuse, pineapple, lemon, and simple syrup, delivering a bright, modern expression of Japanese whisky culture inspired by spring in the capital.

  • The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection

As part of its National Cherry Blossom Festival programming, The Mayflower Hotel will debut the Cherry Blossom Princess Fantasy Suite Experience, a bespoke stay inspired by the hotel’s historic ties to the Festival’s Cherry Blossom Princess and Queen coronation celebrations. Centered on the iconic Presidential Suite, the experience features refined cherry blossom and Japanese inspired accents, curated historical imagery that nods to the Festival’s legacy, all designed to feel elegant, personal and whimsical. The experience concludes with a carefully curated private dinner for two at Edgar Bar & Kitchen, created in collaboration with the Executive Chef and featuring a house-made cherry blossom-inspired gelato. The customizable offering emphasizes heritage, exclusivity, and thoughtful personalization.

For travelers looking to savor cherry blossom season without splurging on a full suite experience, The Mayflower Hotel introduces the Blossoms and Bubbles Experience, a polished package designed for an easy spring escape. Guests who book the experience will enjoy well-appointed accommodations, sparkling wine for two, cherry blossom-inspired gelato, valet parking, and late checkout, adding thoughtful indulgences to a classic D.C. stay.

  • The Ven at Embassy Row Hotel

To kick off the Festival, The Ven at Embassy Row Hotel will host Bloom After Dark, an Opening Ceremony After Party presented with the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Information & Culture Center on March 21, 2026. The one-night celebration offers a nightlife forward take on Sakura season, featuring cherry blossom-inspired cocktails, seasonal bites, music, and immersive cultural elements in a stylish, social setting.

Guests can carry the celebration beyond the party with The Ven’s exclusive Cherry Blossom Package, which includes a complimentary custom Cherry Blossom tote filled with curated blossom-inspired gifts, locally-inspired treats, and springtime essentials, offering a unique way to bring the magic of cherry blossom season home.

  • The Westin DC Downtown

The Westin DC Downtown will celebrate cherry blossom season across both dining and design, beginning with Root & Vine’s Sakura Serenade, a cherry blossom-inspired dessert featuring almond dacquoise cake layered with cherry cream and cherry compote, finished with candied pistachios and a delicate Sakura chocolate branch. The dessert is complemented by two seasonal cocktails, the Blossom & Bourbon, blending barrel select Bourbon with Chambord, cherry liqueur, and fresh lemon juice, and the floral Blossom Mist, crafted with Elderflower Gin, botanical liqueur, and fruit-forward French apéritif.

Beyond the table, the hotel’s exterior will glow pink throughout the season, and guests are invited to extend the experience with the Touches of Pink package, featuring a Park View room accented with cherry blossom details and Westin’s Sleep Well amenities, including the signature Sleep Well tea service.

  • Washington Marriott Metro Center

Spotted Zebra at Marriott Metro Center will celebrate cherry blossom season with a curated menu of Japanese and cherry blossom-inspired craft cocktails. Highlights include the floral and frothy Overseas Import with gin and cherry blossom syrup, the light and sparkling Just the One with Aperol and prosecco, and the spirit forward Tokyo After Dark featuring Japanese whisky and sweet vermouth. Additional offerings like Kyoto Crush and Moonlit Orchid blend Japanese whiskies and gins with bright citrus and aperitivo notes for a vibrant spring cocktail program.Read more here - Hotel Management Global Outlook Link

Small Tip To Landing Good Senior-Level Hotel Management Positions in 2026

Many of our members have remained with us since the inception of our job lead service seven years ago. They continue to renew their memberships, staying on board even after securing new positions, and for good reason.

Daily, our editors dispatch bulletins detailing new job vacancies, projects, and industry shifts, including hotel launches, expansions, strategies, and market trends.

We recognize that numerous long-standing, senior-level members utilize these bulletins as conversation starters, reaching out to hotel chains and potential employers, sometimes with unsolicited applications and messages. LHN endorses such proactive engagement. It's an excellent, informal method to gain early interest from prominent hotel groups and upcoming projects, indicating your interest and broadening your opportunities for intriguing interviews or discussions about potential roles, particularly at the upper echelons of management.

Our editors also keep these proactive efforts in mind, shaping many bulletins to cover "new openings, new projects, and new market developments."

While membership spots for 2026 are limited, it's not too late to renew.- Read more her
