Minor Hotels Achieves Record Success in 2026 T+L 500 List
Ten properties across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America named to the prestigious list of the world’s best hotels
Minor Hotels, a global hospitality leader with a portfolio of more than 640 hotels in operation and committed development, is celebrating its most successful year to date, with Travel + Leisure naming ten of its properties to the 2026 T+L 500 list of the best hotels in the world – a significant increase on last year. This record achievement reflects the breadth and depth of Minor Hotels’ global portfolio, with standout properties across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and throughout the Americas.
Asia delivered the strongest representation, with five Anantara properties celebrated for their distinctive sense of place and world-class hospitality. In Vietnam, Anantara Hoi An Resort, a riverside sanctuary set within a UNESCO-listed heritage town, was recognised for its serene atmosphere and culture-led experiences. In Sri Lanka, Anantara Kalutara Resort, set between lagoon and ocean on architect Geoffrey Bawa’s final project site, was honoured for its striking design and warm island hospitality.
