Four Seasons Hotel Madrid announces the appointment of Patrick Pollak as its new Regional Vice-President and General Manager. About to celebrate 30 years at Four Seasons, Patrick brings extensive international experience in luxury hospitality after leading several iconic Four Seasons properties in North America, Asia, and Mexico.
Born in Mexico City to French parents, Patrick grew up in a bicultural environment that had a profound impact on his global outlook on hospitality. He later returned to France to study Hotel Management and Hospitality at the prestigious Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon. This was a decisive period in his life that led to a lengthy career at Four Seasons, which began in 1996 as Bar Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City.
With a strong passion for gastronomy and service, Patrick developed a major part of his career in the food and beverage sector, steadily rising through the ranks to hold such leadership positions as Head of Food & Beverage, Hotel Manager, and Resort Manager in various top destinations: Punta Mita, Mexico; Dallas, Texas; and Hualalai, Hawaii. In 2017, he was appointed General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou and subsequently took over management of the brand’s flagship hotel in Toronto, Canada.
Today, as the leader of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, Patrick takes up the challenge of continuing to consolidate the hotel’s position as a benchmark of urban luxury in Europe. “Every Four Seasons hotel is unique,” says Patrick. “But what they all have in common is a deep sense of belonging and pride. My goal is to strengthen that connection with the team, with our guests, and with the city.”
His international experience, his multicultural outlook, and his control of English, French, and Spanish underpin his ability to lead a property that combines history, innovation, and service excellence. As a champion of teamwork, Patrick underlines the importance of building a culture based on attention to detail and service authenticity.
For this new chapter in history, Patrick is focused on continuing the magnificent work undertaken by the hotel since it opened, with a commitment to evolving but without sacrificing soul. His goal is to continue consolidating the hotel’s position, building on all the work that has been done to date. “I am enormously proud to form part of the team at Four Seasons Madrid. I accept the responsibility to continue positioning and building on everything the team has already done over the last five years,” says Patrick, highlighting the work done by the team at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid and underlining the importance of continuing a project in a city with such immense potential while maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.
With this appointment, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is entering a new era under experienced leadership that is closely aligned with the values upheld by the brand, thereby reaffirming its commitment to excellence, innovation, and a genuine connection with the city.... Small Tip To Landing Good Senior-Level Hotel Management Positions in 2026
Many of our members have remained with us since the inception of our job lead service seven years ago. They continue to renew their memberships, staying on board even after securing new positions, and for good reason.
Daily, our editors dispatch bulletins detailing new job vacancies, projects, and industry shifts, including hotel launches, expansions, strategies, and market trends.
We recognize that numerous long-standing, senior-level members utilize these bulletins as conversation starters, reaching out to hotel chains and potential employers, sometimes with unsolicited applications and messages. LHN endorses such proactive engagement. It's an excellent, informal method to gain early interest from prominent hotel groups and upcoming projects, indicating your interest and broadening your opportunities for intriguing interviews or discussions about potential roles, particularly at the upper echelons of management.
Our editors also keep these proactive efforts in mind, shaping many bulletins to cover "new openings, new projects, and new market developments."
While membership spots for 2026 are limited, it's not too late to renew.- Read more her
