Mandarin Oriental is pleased to announce Emirates Palace, Mandarin Oriental Mansions, Abu Dhabi, the Group's newest standalone branded Mansions which is anticipated for handover in 2029.

Building on the Group's successful global expansion of Mandarin Oriental Residences, this development strengthens the Group's Middle East portfolio and marks a significant milestone for the region, introducing an elevated standard of living to the Capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Owned by Emirates Palace Company (EPCO) and developed in partnership with LEAD Development — the exclusive collection of 35 ultra‑luxury private mansions will be situated within the grounds of the legendary Emirates Palace, Mandarin Oriental. Mandarin Oriental will deliver bespoke residential services to the mansions on behalf of the owner. Positioned along one of the UAE's most significant natural shorelines, each mansion will be crafted with a focus on design, destination, and sense of exclusivity.

The design of the mansions draws inspiration from Abu Dhabi's rich heritage and its remarkable coastal setting, expressed through a refined contemporary aesthetic. The mansions will be anchored by courtyards, gardens, and panoramic sea views, creating a tranquil environment where each home is positioned to offer the utmost privacy, gracious living spaces, and a serene sense of arrival.

Residents will enjoy a curated suite of private amenities, centred on the residents' lounge with its signature Mandarin Oriental tea library, alongside a pair of refined private rooms designed for quiet work or meetings, and an elegant residential-style bar. At the water's edge, the residents-only beach club offers private cabanas, a dedicated kids' room, a golf simulator, and a chef's table. Residents will also benefit from Emirates Palace, Mandarin Oriental's renowned service and attention to detail, with hospitality-inspired experiences designed to elevate everyday living.

H.E. Humaid Matar AlDhaheri, Board Member at Emirates Palace Company (EPCO) said:

“This development represents a significant addition to the urban landscape of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and reflects the growing confidence in its real estate sector. Its association with Emirates Palace grants it exceptional value, as the Palace is considered one of the region's most iconic landmarks. This, in turn, contributes to reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a capital of urban innovation and quality of life.”

Mounir Haidar, Co-founder of LEAD Development, added: “Building within the grounds of Emirates Palace is a responsibility we do not take lightly. Our mission is to ensure the residences belong naturally within the broader architectural and cultural context of the Palace and Abu Dhabi. This is not simply a residential address, but part of placemaking hospitality with a context that will continue to further position Abu Dhabi as a unique destination in the region.”

Laurent Kleitman, Group Chief Executive of Mandarin Oriental, concluded: “Abu Dhabi continues to distinguish itself internationally through the depth of its cultural identity, the quality of its hospitality, and the clarity of its long-term vision. Small Tip To Landing Good Senior-Level Hotel Management Positions in 2026

Many of our members have remained with us since the inception of our job lead service seven years ago. They continue to renew their memberships, staying on board even after securing new positions, and for good reason.

Daily, our editors dispatch bulletins detailing new job vacancies, projects, and industry shifts, including hotel launches, expansions, strategies, and market trends.

We recognize that numerous long-standing, senior-level members utilize these bulletins as conversation starters, reaching out to hotel chains and potential employers, sometimes with unsolicited applications and messages. LHN endorses such proactive engagement. It's an excellent, informal method to gain early interest from prominent hotel groups and upcoming projects, indicating your interest and broadening your opportunities for intriguing interviews or discussions about potential roles, particularly at the upper echelons of management.

Our editors also keep these proactive efforts in mind, shaping many bulletins to cover "new openings, new projects, and new market developments."

While membership spots for 2026 are limited, it's not too late to renew.- Read more her
