Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has been engaged by Jinan Licheng District Quanfuhe Investment Development Co. Ltd. to manage a luxury hotel to be built in Jinan, the capital of China’s Shandong Province. The Langham, Jinan will be located in the budding central business district (CBD) of Century-Old Honglou, a neighbourhood in Licheng District known for historical buildings dating back to the early 1900s. They include the Hongjialou Cathedral, the Shandong Provincial Library, and the Shandong University campus. The CBD itself is a vibrant commercial hub and home to Jinan’s burgeoning quantum technology and artificial intelligence industries, and a wide selection of malls and restaurants. “The area is further enhanced by its natural surroundings, thanks to its proximity to several of Jinan’s 70 famous springs. Together, these elements create a unique setting where heritage, modernity and nature intersect, forming a compelling backdrop for a distinctive hotel.

"We are honoured to partner with Langham Hospitality Group, a company distinguished by its thoughtful approach to shaping one-of-a-kind hotels,” Jinan Licheng District Quanfuhe Investment Development Co. Ltd. Executive Deputy General Manager Ms. Chen Wenping said. “Drawing on the strengths of Honglou district’s heritage, commercial vitality and natural beauty, The Langham, Jinan will cater to both leisure and business travellers while enhancing the profile of Licheng District and Jinan as a whole.”

The Langham, Jinan will comprise 286 guest rooms and suites and be situated at a site approximately 35,000 square metres in size. Its design will draw on The Langham’s 160-year heritage while incorporating elements inspired by Jinan’s springs.

Planned amenities will include several signature dining venues, among them an outpost of LHG’s three-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant, T’ang Court. These will be complemented by a destination bar, extensive meeting and event facilities and wellness amenities under the Group’s Chuan Spa brand.

Small Tip To Landing Good Senior-Level Hotel Management Positions in 2026

Many of our members have remained with us since the inception of our job lead service seven years ago. They continue to renew their memberships, staying on board even after securing new positions, and for good reason.

Daily, our editors dispatch bulletins detailing new job vacancies, projects, and industry shifts, including hotel launches, expansions, strategies, and market trends.

We recognize that numerous long-standing, senior-level members utilize these bulletins as conversation starters, reaching out to hotel chains and potential employers, sometimes with unsolicited applications and messages. LHN endorses such proactive engagement. It's an excellent, informal method to gain early interest from prominent hotel groups and upcoming projects, indicating your interest and broadening your opportunities for intriguing interviews or discussions about potential roles, particularly at the upper echelons of management.

Our editors also keep these proactive efforts in mind, shaping many bulletins to cover "new openings, new projects, and new market developments."

While membership spots for 2026 are limited, it's not too late to renew.- Read more her
